Suranne Jones

Sarah Anne Jones, better well-known as Suranne Jones, is an actor and producer hailing born in England. She has garnered fame for acting as Ruth Slater in the miniseries "Unforgiven," Detective Rachel Bailey in the police procedural drama 'Scott & Bailey", and the role of GP Gemma Foster in the medical drama "Doctor Foster". The actress is originally from Chadderton, Greater Manchester, Jones was a member of in the Oldham Theatre Workshop and received her BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts from them. The stage was her first experience for Jones as a child at eight years young, playing Gloria in a production of "Wait Till Dark". She made her debut on screen in 1997 when she played a character in an episode in the show "Coronation Street". In 2000, she returned to as Karen McDonald. She was then cast as a variety of TV characters such as 'Vincent' 'Strictly confidential' and "Harley Street.'
