Sutton Foster, an actor as well as a singer and dancer, has appeared in eleven Broadway shows and the most recent revived production Violet. She also portrayed parts on Broadway as a singer, dancer and actor in The Drowsy Chaperone and Little Women. The actress's Tony Award winning performances include Anything Goes, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and Young Frankenstein. She was first seen on the television screen in Star Search at age 15, and has more recently appeared as a character in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster is a soloist who has performed in the US as well as overseas with Michael Rafter. They have recorded songs from her debut CD "Wish" along with the sequel CD An Evening with Sutton Foster Live At The Cafe Carlyle. Sutton Foster earned an honorary doctorate from Ball State University in 2011. Sutton Foster is part of the faculty of Ball State University as a instructor and advisor for dance. In March 2015 she began acting as "Younger" in TVLand which is a brand new series created by Darren Star.
